Can't make it to BreyerFest, but want the Special Run models available there? I can help!
I will pick up your model, and ship it out to you (starting the week after the
event-takes me a few days to get home and get things in order). I even include
any extra goodies I can gather, like postcards, stickers, etc. All I need is
your ticket (or tickets - I have no restrictions on the number of models I will
pick up for you) by July 10, exact cost of any special runs you want (be aware
that for the past 2 years, Breyer has changed a price after announcing it as
one thing – if that happens, I’ll email you and we can work that out before
shipping), and the pick up and shipping fee of $15 per model (my fee hadn’t
changed in years, but with multiple increases in shipping throughout those
years, including 2009, I had to raise the price). If you have 4 or more picked
up, the fee drops to $11 per model. I ship using UPS Ground, or sometimes USPS.
Shipping internationally is NOT A PROBLEM! I do that every year (inquire about
pick up/shipping fees)! This year’s
Celebration horse is Roxy. If you are unfamiliar with the way Breyer
sells their exclusive Special Run models from the Breyer Store here is the
short version: You must first purchase a
BreyerFest ticket from Breyer (Breyer has started NOT letting us buy just a
child’s ticket). Along with your ticket you
receive another numbered special ticket which allows you entrance into the
Breyer Store, which is where they sell the exclusive Special Run models (the
Celebration Model is included in the cost of your BreyerFest ticket). Your Special Run ticket allows you the chance
to buy 2 items from the store during a specific hour on a specific day, and in
order by number drawn at random. It is
this ticket I need in order to purchase the exclusive Special Run models Breyer
sells at BreyerFest. Please keep in mind
that for every 2 specials you want, I need one special ticket. I CANNOT BUY THE BREYER STORE SPECIAL RUN
MODELS WITHOUT THE SPECIAL TICKET, SO DON’T ASK! It is also a gamble on what will be available
in the store when your ticket number comes up.
If I’m at the back of the line, there may be little to choose from. Please give me your favorites in order from
what is available in the store. I’ll do
my best to get your first choices. I’ve
managed to do that in the past, but you never know.
I don’t have a specific list of what
the SR’s will cost. Breyer simply gave
me a list of all the store SR’s and included in the lump sum the Roxy model, a
Quarter Horse Gelding surprise model and all 5 of the one-day models. I will set the fees as follows: The porcelain will be $150 and all plastic
horses are $60, the poodle is $35. This
will allow for any price variations. I’ll
refund the excess when I ship the models or contact you if you need to send
more money for the SR’s. The prices of
the models are listed on the bag the models come in.
BreyerFest 2009 is
There are no limits on how many models I will pick up for you. I can also purchase your BreyerFest tickets for you (with plenty of advance notice). If you purchase your own tickets, just send them to me by July 10, along with the appropriate fees, and I will either email you or write when I receive the tickets and fees. For your convenience, I take MasterCard and Visa as payment (3% fee added to the cost of the tickets and SR tent models to cover my bank fee). All models shipped beginning the week after BreyerFest. No long waits! Please don’t email me right after BreyerFest wanting to know what I got for you, because I won’t be able to confirm anything until I sort out the models. I love hearing from everyone, but assume I got what you wanted, ‘cause that’s what the service is for. I’ll email you immediately if there is some need.
I do these pick ups as a service to my fellow collectors! Doing pick ups like this is hard work, but if I needed a model picked up, I'd like to think the person I trusted my model with would take the same care as I do. 2010, if they have it. My health gets
worse every year, and BreyerFest really takes a toll on me. If I can locate a trusted referral for pick
ups, I will let you know.
